RCOE Activities

Each RCOE will work with other local authorities and their partners to provide support and share their experience of:

  • preventing youth homelessness
  • accommodating young people (16-25) who are at risk of homelessness or have been accepted as homeless;
  • supporting young people in establishing sustainable and independent adult lives.

The RCOEs will each organise an event in their region for local housing authorities and their partners to meet to share experience and learn more about developments in other central and local government departments. In addition, they will;

  • work with individual councils to carry out action planning days, peer reviews and training events
  • work with established regional and sub-regional networks to expand membership and promote innovation and improvement.

How to get involved

Each RCOE is taking a different approach and is focusing on particular aspects of youth homelessness. To see what's on offer, click on the Regional link in the table above.
