Case study: Laban

Contemporary dancing at the Laban Laban is an awe-inspiring landmark building at the heart of South East London's thriving arts community designed by award-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron.

Purpose-built for dance training, it is the largest and best equipped contemporary dance school in Europe. The fully accessible building supports the needs of dance with specialist facilities.

Laban brings together students, choreographers, designers, writers, researchers, artists, theatre practitioners and musicians from around the world.

Laban recently merged with Trinity College of Music to form Trinity Laban: the UK's first conservatoire for music and dance in the UK.
