Lewisham is located on the south western edge of London Thames Gateway, just across the river from the Isle of Dogs and only 15 minutes from Canary Wharf. It comprises a set of diverse communities with their distinctive town centres and vibrant markets. Several major arterial roads run through North Lewisham, including the A20, A21 and A205 South Circular. It is also well served by public transport with access to mainline rail services, the DLR and several bus routes.
