Thames Gateway and the Olympics

Case study: Greenwich Peninsula

On the Greenwich Peninsula, the construction of the award-winning Greenwich Millennium Village is well underway.

English Partnerships also has an agreement with Meridian Delta Ltd (MDL) and, over the next twenty years, MDL will create a new community, masterplanned by Terry Farrell and Partners.

Over the next 15 years, the new riverside community will attract people from all over the capital with homes for 20,000 residents, 24,000 jobs and places to eat, shop, and relax.

The Peninsula regeneration programme represents the largest single housing-led group of projects in the Thames Gateway.
