Case study: Erith Western Gateway

Erith Western Gateway

The development of land to the west of Erith Town Centre is considered to present one of the best opportunities to secure the sustainable regeneration of Erith. The area is made up of 13 sites, mostly in Council ownership, and is being marketed to developers.

Under the scheme, the London Borough of Bexley and the Invest Bexley regeneration partnership board are seeking to create a sustainable riverside community which will offer a broad mix of homes, employment, retail and leisure uses.

Bexley is working closely with a number of public partners including national regeneration agency English Partnerships, Communities and Local Government, the London Development Agency and Design for London.

Visit www.bexley.gov.uk/regeneration for further information on the Erith Western Gateway.
