Case study: Voltaic
Voltaic is an award winning new distribution/warehouse building developed by Gazeley with a suite of 12 of the latest eco-initiatives including solar photovoltaics and a ground source heat pump. 
The development marks £27m of private sector investment flowing into Dagenham Dock on the back of the public sector regeneration projects mentioned above.
The new high bay warehouse and office facility incorporates a suite of 12 eco-initiatives designed to significantly reduce energy and water consumption, cut carbon dioxide emissions, utilise recyclable materials and slash operational costs.
Gazeley's environmentally aware design model is setting the benchmark for sustainable development and delivering massive energy, water and carbon dioxide reductions in the environmental performance of new warehouse buildings.
