As families and friends come together this Easter I would like to send my best wishes to Christians around the UK who are celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Christian Churches continue to make a significant contribution to our local communities. Easter provides us with hope for the future and offers us the promise of new life and I regularly see people of faith demonstrating this promise through the investment they make in people and the belief they show in the future of our communities.
