The government’s aim is to promote strong, sustainable and balanced growth in every part of the country, and a year ago it set out its approach as to how it would do so.

One year on, the Supporting Local Growth report highlights the progress the government has made with the introduction of local enterprise partnerships, Enterprise Zones, a Regional Growth Fund and a Growing Places Fund amongst many new initiatives.
