Summary

This Annex provides advice to Regional Planning Bodies (RPBs), Local Planning Authorities (LPAs), developers and other interested parties on the issues relevant to development and use of land that may be affected by contamination and the extent of controls operated through planning and environmental legislation.

Please note: Appendix 2B of this Annex has been cancelled by the Department's letter of 30 May 2008 to Chief Planning Officers. This letter can be viewed from the link on the right of this page.
