Section 318 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 will apply the Mobile Homes Act 1983 to local authority Gypsy and Traveller sites.

Following consultation this document sets out amendments to the terms of the 1983 Act and other transitional arrangements that will apply to local authority and county council Gypsy and Traveller sites when section 318 is brought into force.
