Summary

This is a final Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) of the transposition of Directives to, and regulation of, marine minerals dredging in the proposed Environmental Impact Assessment and Natural Habitats (Extraction of Minerals by Marine Dredging) (England and Northern Ireland) Regulations 2007. This RIA provides an assessment of the implications of the proposed Regulations as they will apply to English and Northern Ireland waters, and some outer-marine areas around Scotland and Wales.
