This pamphlet outlines the issues that will need to be addressed in the forthcoming review of the Building Regulations energy efficiency requirements (Part L) for new dwellings that will support the aims expressed in the Housing Green Paper - Homes for the Future: More Affordable, More Sustainable.

It gives an indication of the issues that will need to be considered in developing proposals for the significantly higher standards that will be necessary, and illustrations of the sorts of building specifications that might be adopted in order to meet them.
