This practice guide complements Planning Policy Statement 25 Supplement: Development and Coastal Change by offering guidance for planners and other stakeholders on how to implement its policies in practice. The guide draws on existing good practice and is illustrated with case studies.

We intend to ensure the practice guide is updated at appropriate intervals to keep it relevant as good practice in implementing development and coastal change policy develops.
