This second LPSA survey of target owners and co-ordinators took place in 2006 and looked at factors influencing progress towards LPSA targets, how progress was managed, the wider impacts of the LPSA and the anticipated sustainability of its influence on performance. Respondents rated the most important factors for target achievement to be the input of additional funding and the contribution of the target owners themselves. The LPSA process was seen as having a positive influence on partnership working and service performance, which it was felt could be sustained beyond the agreement period.
