Summary

This refreshed Guidance Note has been produced for areas developing their LAA during 2006-7 to commence in April 2007 and for Round One and Two areas that will be refreshing their current agreements at the end of 2006, who should reflect this guidance in their refreshed LAA. It replaces the Guidance Note issued in June 2005 and all previous Advice Notes on LAAs.

An addendum to the guidance was issued on 22 June 2005.  It is intended to provide clarity on a small number of points raised by stakeholders. The addendum should be read alongside the guidance.
