This is the second part of two-stage guidance on the negotiation process for negotiating a new Local Area Agreement (LAA). This stage clarifies the operational process for negotiating LAAs that flow from the Comprehensive Spending Review.
The first part the guidance, Negotiating New Local Area Agreements, is available via the link on the right.
A range of case studies have been developed in partnership with the sector to demonstrate how LAAs have been used successfully to tackle a variety of issues. Links to these documents can be found below. In addition, a number of agencies and Government Departments have developed specific toolkits to assist partners in the development of LAAs. These toolkits can be accessed through the links on the right-hand side of the page.
