This narrative supplements the recently published Local Government White Paper Implementation Plan setting out further details about the shape of the new LAA framework, the importance of the Sustainable Community Strategy and an approach to implementing changes in a way that local authorities and partners can realise the benefits of the White Paper at the earliest opportunity. It includes a note issued to the Parliamentary Committee currently examining the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill which seeks to create statutory LAAs.
