Summary
The national 'Connect to your Council' campaign was launched in May 2006 with the aim of building public awareness and encouraging use of Local Authority online services. Over the course of the Campaign it has helped Local Authority websites maintain a consistent share of web traffic in a dramatically growing market.
The Campaign runs until March 2008 and people visiting the Campaign website at www.direct.gov.uk/mycouncil (external link) only need to enter a post code, town or street name, to be directed to the relevant service page of their council's website.
