Summary

The Non-Domestic Rating (Deferred Payments) (England) Regulations 2009 are due to come into force on the 31 July 2009 at which point businesses will be able to apply for deferral. This Business rates information letter (BRIL) concerns the next steps to implementation.

Alongside this BRIL we have published supplementary guidance on how to administer the scheme and a package for local authorities to send to all ratepayers containing:
