Summary

This report reviews the Major Repairs Allowance model and produces both initial and final estimates of the resources required to maintain the stock in a decent condition beyond 2010.

It was commissioned as part of the Review of council housing finance and has been used as evidence to inform that Review.

The findings and recommendations in this report are those of the consultant authors and do not necessarily represent the views or proposed policies of Communities and Local Government.
