This report summaries the composition, experience and views of private landlords regarding letting and maintence of their property, from the EHCS 2006: Private Landlords Survey.

It is a summary update of the more detailed EHCS 2003 Private Landlord Survey Report and is intended to provide general evidence for assessing trends in the sector and the context of regulations arising from the 2004 Housing Act.
