The Government attaches great importance to a well run park home sector in which disputes, which inevitably arise as in any sector, can be resolved informally by negotiation and agreement

Inevitably, however, it will not always be possible for parties to resolve disputes themselves and so an effective and meaningful third party resolution system needs to be available. The consultation seeks to elicit views on what is the most appropriate system.

The Government believes there should be a level playing field between residents and site owners in resolving disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement. To that end the consultation paper explores three options for taking dispute resolution forward and we invite your views on your preferred option.
