Summary

This document sets out the Government's proposals on how the Housing Revenue Account Subsidy Determinations will be calculated and operate over the next two years in so far as they impact upon local authority housing rent levels and those aspects of the formulae which create volatility on an annual basis.

In consulting on the structure of the subsidy determination to be used for the next two years, the aim is to provide more certainty for local authorities in this period until the outcomes of the Review are implemented.
