Summary

This consultation paper provides a response to the findings and recommendations in Reviewing the disabled facilities grant programme, an independent report by the University of Bristol. The paper also provides the Government's proposals to improve the Disabled Facilities Grant Programme.

Using the findings and recommendations from the Bristol report, the paper identifies short and long term plans and asks for comments on the prposals.

This consultation closed on 13 April 2007. A summary of responses to this consultation was published on 13 August 2007.
