Details

The Department for Communities and Local Government commissioned this interim evaluation of the Mortgage Rescue Scheme and Homeowners Mortgage Support in September 2009 to evaluate the effectiveness of the schemes and inform improvements and decisions on their future.

The research comprised extensive in-depth interviews, analysis of administration and secondary data and an interim value-for-money assessment. The report provides views on implications for policy, including their contribution to social policy objectives and scheme operational delivery.
