Summary
The End to End Review of the Housing Corporation was announced in both Houses of Parliament on 16 September 2003 and concluded in June 2004. The Report of the review (Section 2), was published on 30 June 2004 and is accompanied by an Action Plan (Section 3) in PowerPoint format as presented to and signed off by the Project Board, that shows how we intend to implement the recommendations of the review.
An End to End review offers the opportunity to look critically at a whole delivery system, not just one part of it. It views organisations as part of a delivery chain which starts from Ministerial aspirations and the setting of policy, through management, to the point of service delivery achieving the desired outcomes.
The aim of such reviews is to help organisations improve results systematically, through better understanding of the 'business' under consideration, its current performance and any possible future challenges it might face.
