Summary

This report explores the findings of research conducted by BMRB Social on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The research focused on the views and experiences of applicants for local authority (LA) and housing association (HA) accommodation within six choice-based lettings pilots. The resulting report examines the functioning and effects of each pilot, and draws out the overall lessons that can be learnt from the six pilots.
