Summary

The Toolkit includes technical examples, graphs and illustrations designed to support Fire and Rescue Authorities (FRAs) in making the most of the new performance framework. It includes four active Excel spreadsheets. FRAs may wish to input data into these spreadsheets to generate local targets, to measure perfromance against 'Confidence Intervals' and to calculate local costs to society and the economy from fires. The Fire and Rescue Service has been closely involed in developoing the Toolkit which responds to the areas where support has been requested.
