Summary

In May 1999, West Midlands Fire Service approached the Home Office for support for a study to investigate ethnic minority views on the fire service as an employer, with the aim of implementing a recruitment advertising strategy that would improve its record on ethnic minority recruitment. The study has now been completed and the Corporate Communications Company's report is reproduced in this document.
