Details

Annex A provides an overview of the key roles played by the range of organisations which may become involved in an incident where site clearance is required.

This update reflects the changes that have taken place since 2005 both in national resilience arrangements (including the role of the Resilience and Emergencies Division within the Department for Communities and Local Government) and in the roles of various government departments and other national organisations such as the Government Decontamination Service.

The updated Annex A should be used in place of the Annex A within the 2005 Guidance on Development of a Site Clearance Capability in England and Wales document.

Only Annex A has been updated, the remainder of the document remains extant and can continue to be used as a source of guidance on developing local site clearance plans.
