This document sets out the heads of agreement on the parameters to govern scheme design for the firefighters’ pension scheme in England to be introduced from April 2015.

This sets out the government’s final position on the main elements of scheme design, provided that agreement can be reached on the core parameters, which unions have agreed to take to their executives following discussions.
