Summary

This report presents the findings from the Communities and Local Government study into Fire and Rescue Service response times. By analysing response times to primary fire and road traffic incidents over a number of years, trends in these response times are presented and discussed. Possible reasons for changes in Fire and Rescue Service response times are also described.

The report available here between 26 February 2009 and 11 March 2009 contained some errors. These have been corrected and the revised report is now available to download.
