Summary
Research was carried out into the attitudes of vulnerable groups to fire risk. Interviews were carried out with community fire safety advocates and focus groups were conducted with a number of vulnerable groups. The research reported on the attitudes of these groups to fire risk, encouraging behaviour change and the role and impact of community fire safety advocates. The report includes recommendations for developing the work of advocates and community fire safety more generally.
