Summary
This paper describes the strategy for the design and delivery of learning and development for all staff appointed to Regional Control Centre (RCC) roles, and other FRS staff whose roles will be affected by the introduction of them. Its purpose is as follws:
- to identify the groups of staff who will require training during the lead up to the RCCs becoming operational, and beyond
- to provide the principles on which the design and delivery of learning interventions for RCCs will be based
- to ensure that the arrangements for initial and on going learning interventions are in place to equip all those involved with the RCCs with a robust set of skills and capabilities to support them in their roles and the successful operation of the RCCs.
