Summary

The objectives of this research were to identify the various response strategies currently employed by FRSs in response to automatic fire alarms and to assess the costs and benefits of each strategy both to the FireĀ and Rescue Service and to the wider community. The research analyses and quantifies (at a national level) some of the potential costs and benefits and some of these analyses will be of interest at a local level.
