Summary

The ODPM Evidence and Innovation Strategy 2005-08 sets out our analytical priorities, how we will put them into practice and how we will ensure that key stakeholders can access and use the evidence upon which policy and service delivery are based. It is published here to initiate a consultation of our partners and others with an interest in our work. A consultation paper invites comments by 9 June 2006, and is available from the 'See Also' link on the right of the page. The strategy itself is supported by a separate background document.

The final version of the strategy, to be published in the summer of 2006, will provide feedback on how the consultation has informed the strategy.
