Summary

The first part of the paper reports on progress against some of the specific recommendations relating to central consultative arrangements. A revised set of criteria developed in consultation with stakeholders, for measuring progress in engaging with faith communities, is also presented.

The second part of the report is intended both as a snapshot of progress on the record of engagement between Government Departments and faith communities since the Working Together report was published in February 2004, and as a focus for discussion.
