The Benefits of Community Engagement report was written by IPPR Trading Ltd for the Civil Renewal Unit. The report reviews the evidence for the positive results of community engagement and identifies further work needed to increase and promote understanding of what works.

Since this publication the Civil Renewal Unit has run a research programme looking at specific areas of community engagement.
