Energy Assessors & qualifications

Only accredited and suitably qualified energy assessors can carry out an energy assessment.

The skills needed are defined in the National Occupational Standards which can be downloaded from the Asset Skills Energy Assessors website.

To be an assessor you need to join an accreditation body (see Accreditation page) and be suitably qualified or have the relevant experience or competence.

There are different types of assessors to cover the changes being rolled out. These are highlighted below and include information on qualifications and training.
