The findings of the following research projects, funded through the Communities and Local Government and British Geological Survey (BGS) Joint Minerals Information Programme, have been published and can be downloaded from BGS (external link).

- Aggregates supply in England: Issues for planning - this report provides a summary of the managed aggregates supply research project but also draws on other research projects that have been funded by Defra's Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund
The findings and recommendations in these reports are those of the consultant authors and do not necessarily represent the views or proposed policies of Communities and Local Government. The reports are intended by the authors to inform debate about aggregates supply in England.
