Planning and Climate Change
The Government is committed to put in place regional and local planning policies on adaptation to climate change, and to strengthen policies that will mitigate and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Planners already have suitable instruments such as conditions, agreements, obligations and informatives, all of which can be used to respond to climate change on the local, regional and national level.
