Call-in Letters and Called-in and Recovered Appeals Decision Letters

The planning call-in database contains copies of the decision letters on called-in and recovered appeal cases decided by the Secretary of State since 1 October 2000 which have been issued by the Government Offices. Cases for decision by the Secretary of State, where Inspector's Reports were received after 1 April 2002, have been issued by the Communities and Local Government's Planning Central Casework Division (PCCD). The database also includes copies of the letters issued by the Government Offices (on behalf of the Secretary of State) where there has been a decision on whether or not to call in a planning application. To search the database use the Planning Call-in Search below.

Please note: Inspectors' reports referred to in the decision letters are not normally available in electronic form unless a specific link has been provided. Anyone who may require a hard copy of an Inspector's report referred to in a decision letter should contact the relevant Government Office or PCCD (see the external links to the right). Please note that Government Offices or PCCD may make a photocopying charge for providing a hard copy of the report.
