Local and regional government research and statistics

The Local and Regional Government Research Unit provides professional social research support and advice on a wide range of local and regional government issues. It complements the larger, service-specific research programmes run by other parts of Communities and Local Government or other government departments, eg on housing, planning, urban policies and social services.
