National Strategy for Housing in an Ageing Society
An ageing society is one of the great challenges for housing.
In Lifetime Homes, Lifetime Neighbourhoods, our housing strategy for an ageing society (published 25 February 2008), we announced our ambitions to build homes to Lifetime Homes standards and a vision of Lifetime Neighbourhoods that are fit for all.
We are providing improved advice and information and expanding our help for simple repairs and adaptations, with more investment in major home adaptations to support independence.
