The government is committed to involving communities. As set out in the Housing Green Paper, local people and their representatives are entitled to be equipped with the evidence about local housing pressures, demand and supply. The links below provide some of the most useful or popular data, presented by type and other variables, including by geographical area or on a temporal basis. These information sources provide an indication of local housing pressures, to enable a community to reach its own views on the challenge its local area faces.
Household projections are produced by Communities and Local Government and are linked to the latest Office for National Statistics Sub-National Population Projections.
