Links to the EHCS standard tables, which contain data from 2001 onwards (where available) are provided below. Data for 2006 will be made available shortly.
The EHCS tables will not be updated after the 2007 data has been added (in mid 2009) but they will remain on the website. A new set of English Housing Survey (EHS) live tables will be developed. These will be published in early 2010 when the first year's data from this new survey becomes available.
The Summary Statistics are published as part of the annual report and provide a summary of the key statistics from the survey. All other tables are organised around the main policy themes the survey reports on. These provide more detailed breakdowns of data particularly in terms of the age, and type of dwellings, deprived areas, tenure, types of households, nature of the area and market conditions. Data for 2006 will be made available shortly.
Supplementary tables to the 2003 Regional Report are not provided here but can be accessed from the English House Condition Survey - 2003 Regional Report page.
In some instances cells in the tables are based on a small number of cases and should be approached with caution. It may be necessary to add cells across categories before certain data can be used in a meaningful way. Full details of the way in which the survey was conducted, including details of the sample structure, survey error and its calculation for specific sub-groups are provided in the Technical Report.
