Interform

This is an electronic way for local authorities to submit data via the Internet. On-line notes and guidance are provided and data are validated as they are entered. Previous data could be pre-filled for records or comparison purposes to help suppliers where appropriate. The Department for Communities and Local Government's aim is to have all returns submitted using this method and to phase out all paper returns as this is a more efficient method.

For the Housing Investment Programme returns, all 354 local authorities have adopted this method. This method is increasingly being used for other forms too.

When a user logs onto the Interform system, he/she can find out the latest news and information about all the forms from the on-line Bulletin. This news includes information about possible problems, when a specific form will be available and its deadline etc.

The Interform helpdesk on 0117 372 8989 is available for new and existing users. If you are a new user we will provide a password and as much help as you need.
