A selection of images representing communities.
Communities and Local Government works closely with other government departments in particular the Anti-social Behaviour Unit and Respect Task Force in the Home Office, who have overall responsibility for the Government's policy on Anti-social behaviour.
Communities and Local Government sets central Government policy on anti-social behaviour as it specifically relates to housing issues. This involves a number of activities, for example carrying out research into anti-social behaviour and housing, consulting housing practitioners and the public on proposed changes to policy, issuing guidance for practitioners, providing advice to ministers and supporting them in taking new legislation through Parliament.
