Homelessness guidance and good practice

This section provides guidance and good practice on a wide range of topics including: reducing bed and breakfast use, shared outcomes in homelessness, health information sheets and guidance for housing authorities reporting against best value performance indicator 213.

In addition to guidance issued by this Department the following publications have been jointly published with other Government Departments and homelessness stakeholders.

  • Prevention of Homelessness - The role of health and social care
    Published jointly with the Department of Health and the Housing Learning and Improvement Network, this report highlights ways in which front line health and social care professionals and staff can help to prevent homelessness (a link to this publication is provided on the right hand side of this page).
