Operational guidance for the fire and rescue service
Communities and Local Government (through the Office of the Chief Fire and Rescue Adviser - see link, right) is responsible for the maintenance and distribution of technical and operational guidance for the fire and rescue service and authorities.
Online Technical and Operational Guidance: project news
Currently, a project is underway to review all existing guidance relating to operational, technical and professional matters that has been issued since 1947.
This will mean that simplified, easily-accessible forms of guidance will be available on this website in due course.
